Hello all. Today was the first day in almost a week that it wasn't (isn't) raining. I took advantage of the sun and went out the the harbor to fish.
Conditions...not good. Wind. Peak high tide, lot's of swell...and several days of junk coming down from the hills. But I fished anyway (for about an hour). Caught 3 surfperch (one was pretty good size). But - the highlight of the day...my first corbina! It wasn't big (maybe 14 inches or so)...but it was still pretty feisty...took some line off my reel and didn't really want to come to the hand. It was released to elude people another day. Just thought that I'd let you all know. Cheers, Chris
