Chris,
I thoroughly enjoyed your ideas!
Thanks for "sticking up" for me. However, I am really used to it by
now. My particular learning style is particularly well suited to the stick
and carrot method. Once in a while I need der schtick! And such a
schtick, it vas, too!
Truthfully, and this hurts to admit it, I am on this list because I have so
much to learn. One thing I just learned is that I really am sloppy in my
tying. I bought cheap materials and have been fighting to make them fit -
much like bending the hook to fit the hackle. And unless omeone points that out,
how will I ever know?
I look forward to that day when I can proudly open my fly box in public,
without fear of anyone making fun of the contents, and display the single
fly I have perfected (thanks for the adivce, Don). I will carry that one
fly in the most expensive Wheatley box I can find.
Seriously, thanks for the advice!!
Doug
