Subject: [VFB] Classic Wet Fly Swap

I have participated in many swaps since joining the VFB over a year ago,
spend more time lurking than "talking", mostly because I have more to learn
than to teach... Blah, Blah, Blah...

So, I have finally decided to host a swap. Nothing fancy, nothing big, but
somewhat unique. This is going to be a "Classic Wet Fly Swap". I've chosen
this theme because of one of my favorite Fly Fishing authors, Ray Bergman.
I'll be tying the EMMA found in his book Trout, why, because I have 1/2 a
jungle cock neck an this pattern calls for some of the body feathers, and it
is in his book. The determination of a classic fly is up to the tier. But,
preferable some one of some notability, could even be from the list...
(opening a big can of worms with that one.).

So, a classic wet fly pattern, (do your homework) say the fly's to me by
February 15. I know this is a busy time of the year for everyone, for
various reasons, and this should give plenty of time, if not to much. I
haven't thought about a number of tiers, lets just see if there is any
interest in this one.

Thanks.
