[VFB] Renzetti makeover...PROBLEM!!!

Thanks to those few of you who sent me the link for this site. There is a problem though, first my travler was bought a little over a year ago, second the pic on the site shows the thumb screw tightner is metal, third my thumb screw is plastic so there is no way I can drill a hole through it and lastly my local hardware store does not carry that type of screw with that type of head so that said any suggestions?? Please.
