Hi all,
I must admit I like the flip over gloves. They are useful when walking
between lochs in the early season or when the fingers refuse to work. The
only drawback I have experienced is their bulk. I can live with this because
they allow me to carry on fishing when the alternative would be a hastey
retreat from the weather.
All the best
Graeme.

I have come to prefer just the wool or the polartec when I fish. When I
looked at the glacier gloves, I found others who had used them, that found
them to be no better than wool...if it's really cold, I use a wool liner
glove from the army/navy store under the fingerless wool gloves I use.

Oh, and winter fishing with cloth gloves makes it a necessity to pinch the
barbs - you are guaranteed to snag your hook in your gloves when prepping
your tackle!

Living would be easier if men showed as much patience at
home as they do when they're fishing.

Here is a link to those glaicer gloves I was telling you about.
Sorry about this going to the list, not intentional.
