Just a short note,
We had Amanda's Birthday party yesterday, but today Theresa and I took
her out to the Springs to break in her present from us. A new 8' Graphite
rod I finely got out. We have lots of pictures but again no where to post
them as of yet, ( still having trouble getting into my web site). All in all
it was a great day, the fish were very cooperative and we had a nice picnic,
( Temps got up to 65 and it was mostly sunny. As a bonus Amanda had what she
first thought was a misquote land on her new VFB hat. Turns out it was a
chocolate brown mayfly, about a size 18. Didn't know we had any, especially
this late in the season and as cold as it has been. But now we know what
they are hitting on the surface when they rise.
Also have some other news and will post it along with progress on the
dry fly adventure when we get back from bible study and church. I am
teaching tonight so must run.
