I live in near Williamsport, in Cogan Station. Pine and Slate are truly special, however, I usually head south to Spring Creek, or Penns. Tom
Byard has an uncle in Williamsport area. Fished both Spring and Penns many a time but I prefer the tiny headwater streams where few go up around Slate Run. Take a walk up from the Manor Hole to just above Red Run and you might be surprised at the size of them browns. My buddy has a cabin near Cedar Run (on Gamble Run Road) and my friend owns Devils Den at the 7 mile.
