Hook: Daiichi 1550
Thread: Pearsall's Silk (Lemmon Yellow, Primrose
yellow, Highlander Green, Olive Green, Hot Orange)
Thorax: Natural Hare's Mask
Pseudo-wing: 4-6 strands of clear, crinkly Antron tied
in between the thorax and hackle. They extend to the
bend of the hook.
Hackle: Partridge

For a real sexy soft hackle try the Daiichi 1480. It
is light wire and 2x short so it will easily stay
right on top and allow you to fish a short pattern
without giving up gape. Byard stocks
(www.linesend.com)them I think as I believe he is an
avid proponent of them for caddis imitations.
