Wow, 67 posts whilst I was gone today. You guys really are addicted to
the VFB! You're all supposed to do like I did and stay off the List and
play with kids and grandkids and do Christmasy stuff, not talk about fly
tying, fly fishing and PETA Sally ;-) Oh, well, I had a great time
with my 4 year old twin grandsons. Got them both little fly fishing
vests and camo hunting outfits. I was doing fine till right after
dinner, but then, WHAM! Kidney Stone. Second time I've had'em. Went to
the emergency room with the first. My nurse said "hurts, don't it!" I
just moaned and begged for more Morphine. She said, "Now you know how
it feels to have a baby, I've had a baby and a kidney stone and there
ain't a nickels worth of difference in the Pain!" That gave me a new
appreciation of Jody, and her having our 5 kids. My daughter gave me
3 Vicodens and Jody drove home. Think she dislodged my kidney stone
when she crossed the railroad tracks about a mile from our house cause
the stone passed a little while ago. Was tiny, but felt like someone
was dragging a logging chain out of me when it passed. I'm feeling much
better now, but after 3 Vicodens, I'm still up on the ceiling watching
myself type this post. Hopefully, that was all of them. The first time,
there was two.
Cheers,
JIMMY
