Favorite flies:  wet: salmon-blue smolt, trout-carey special                       dry: trout-tent wing caddis Favorite rod for:  small streams: the 7'6" rod I'm going to build with the kit I got for X-mas                            large streams: St Croix Legend Ultra 9' 6wt                            salmon rivers: Sage VPS 9' 8wt Favorite vice: Griffin Patriot (haven't tried any others) Favorite waders:  Don't know -- I've got chest high neoprenes -- but I want a pair of Simms breathables. Favorite wading boots: Caddisfly 10" high boots to stabilze the ankle I broke last year. Favorite fishing hat/cap: my VFB hat or my Stumptown Anglers hat that I got in the VFB hat swap -- whichever one isn't wet. Favorite wading vest: my Field and Stream vest because its not made from cotton so won't soak up water. Favorite wading jacket: Australian Outback waxed cotton jacket. Favorite float tube/kick boat/pontoon boat/canoe:  My Old Town 169   Favorite fishing car/truck: My orange 1990 Ford F-150 pickup -- "The Pumpkin" my wife calls it. Favorite streamside snack: I don't have time to eat when fishing. Favorite beverage while or just after fishing:  Frosty canned beer that's been cooling in the stream all day (brand doesnt' matter)   Favorite bug repellant: a sweet cigar. Favorite going fishing tunes: Rolling Stones "Gimme Shelter" or Stan Rogers "Barrets Privateers"   Favorite fish: Arctic Grayling because of their willingness to take a dry fly.
