I felt that way about the Dallas Bass Pro shop. They didn't impress me. They cater more to the simpler fly tyer not the one that's on line getting into the newest and greatest patterns. I have now been in two (2) Bass Pro Shops. The original in Springfield, MO. and the one at Grapevine. I am NOT impressed with the White River fly shops. I always leave not having found everything I was looking for. Their prices are not that much different from Byard's. Their advice is ALWAYS lacking. I know that sounds really negative. . .but hey! I calls them like I sees them!
