well it was quite interesting reading all the posts regarding the roe or not to roe topic,as we can see there are others in the fishing world that do not use the fly, there are those thatdo not fish just for sport and there are those that deliberatly abuse the conservation regulations governed by states or countries.so what do we do.should we just stick to our guns and say that bait fishing is wrong.it should be outlawed. i dont think so i think it is up to us to ensure that a person has the right to fish by any legal means that they feel comfortable with.after all we are all in this together, bait fishermen ,fly fishermen and commercial fishermen.( fisherwomen too) its when we fight amongst our ranks that we become torn apart and stand a chance to lose are freedoms.i dont know about you all but ilike being as free as i can . to be able to hunt or fish or enjoy public lands.our freedoms require being responsible like picking up trash.even if it is not ours or teaching someone to fish even if it means tieing on a peice of roe and letting a child catch their first salmon.standing up to a violater even if it is uncomfortable. when we start putting down other people s tactics wether fishing with bait or eating fish that they have caught legaly then we have become an eltist. and do the fishing sport harm.
