Told you they'd separate you from that hard-earned $. Happy tying, Eddie.

Hey all,
My dad and I went down to College Park for the fly show today. It was amazing. I met a few from the list, Tim Trixler tied a salmon fly(seemed like he had it on vise all day), and Kim Boal and I chatted for a bit and she tied a fly for me. I also met with a guy called Bill Skilton. He uses alot of foam materials, and tied me a beatle and ant. I also picked up his book. 30 bucks, but its a really nice book. Easy to read, good pictures...Its worth checking out atleast. Alot of terrestrial patterns. I bought a few things of foam, a winger cape, a Coq De Leon saddle, some microfibets, and from Collins Hacke Farms, I got a cape and saddle of barred ginger for 20 bucks. It seems to have alot of cree coloration on it, but maybe its my young eyes playing tricks on me. Deb, I did stop at Fly Tyer Varient, and talked to the guy there. He says your at the top of the list for cree. I payed him 5 bucks and now im at the top. Better luck next time<g>. I stopped by almost everyone's tying tables and learned thier methods, talked with them, and picked up some pointers from them. Anyways, just wanted to let you all know about my experiance, it was a really nice show. I sugjest all of you to check it out when it comes by your area.
I'll be in the basement tying flys if you need me...

Tight Lines,
Eddie
