I've bought beads like this in silver and gold. I haven't used them much yet.

The next season where I look for offbeat fly fishing materials is Easter. I tie a lot of bluegill flies with plastic Easter grass.

I once got a few feet of garland with short pieces of flash-a-bou like material in it in a $1.00 box at a tag sale. Unfortunately, I've never seen it in a store since. I guess I'll have to continue to hoard it! (I really do use it for flies I fish and flies I swap.)
