I have stated my purposes for being here.  i am willing to listen to your
argument and let you try to convince me that you are not being barbarians.
Although from what I've seen so far I doubt any of you could MAKE a
convinving argument for your case.

I am not going to try to convince you or anyone else of anything. Since you are a member of PETA your mind is already made up about those of us who fish, hunt or eat any type of red meat and nothing any of us say can or will make you see things from our point of view. You say you are willing to hear our side of the argument, as I see it there is no argument. You do not agree with how we choose to spend or leisure time and you do not agree with us wanting to eat a thick steak or a hamburger fresh off the grill. I am sure there are those on this list who do not agree with the extreme tactics PETA uses to "get their point across," or how anyone who eats any type of meat should be flogged in public. Furthermore, I do not think there is anyone on this list who would be interested in anything you have to say or offer, this is a group of hard-core fly fishers and fly tiers just as I am sure you are hard-core anti anything that has do with the harming of animals. With that said, why don't you leave the way you came so we can get back to discussing things of more importance.
