I thought I would save myself some money so I bought a large bag of mixed Gadwell and Teal flank. Thought it was mallard and teal... oh well. How do you tell Gadwell flank from Teal flank? It all looks the same to me. Maybe they forgot to mix this bag... :0)

Gadwall and Teal are quite similar. The way to tell them apart...Teal has near equal banding...ie...the light and dark bars are almost the same size. The Gadwall has dark barring that is about twice the thickness as the light.

That's about as technical as I get.
