Its 4:30 here in AZ, just got back from the river. I spent 3 hours on the water. I could only come up with 2 Rainbows, 1 (small) Largemouth & a several Bluegill. The people that control the waterflow from the dams have got the flow shut down to almost nothin. Makes it kinda tough. I never did run into Alan, I would have liked to meet him (Also could have used some advise on how to get-em to bite). I could see bunches, but they could also see me. It probably didn't help,(the screamin fit I put on) when I backed into a pile of jumpin cactus right in the middle of a cast! It took some time to regain my composure after doing surgery on my backside with a pocket knife & hemastats. After almost an hour with nothin hittin, I remembered what my uncle used to say, "When nothin else works, tie on the Rootbeer Woolyworm". I guess he was right, that was the only thing that seemed to work.
Jimi, hope this works for a fishin report, I probably would have stayed longer but, all I had was cut-off shorts & tennis shoes. My toes started to turn into prunes! Had to give em a rest.
I am still very new to this website, I am interested in learning more about these "swaps" I keep reading about. Is there someone that can give me more info?
