[VFB] Poll: Flyfishing & tying in the movies....

Okay, so we all know about River I’m guessing; but what about other movies? Anybody know of some?   I’ve come up with one so far:   Best in Show (http://bestinshowonline.warnerbros.com/flash/index.html) – this is (IMHO) a fantastic, brilliant movie. Lots of subtle jokes as well as some not-so-sublte. It’s a “mockumentary” about a bunch of different dogs & their owners going to compete in a big dog show. It’s basically a dog show version of “This is Spinal Tap” (another great movie but it doesn’t have flyfishing references in it). For any Spinal Tap fans out there: Christopher Guest & Michael McKean are both in it (Guest co-wrote & directed BIS). Anyways, one of the owners, Harlan Pepper, owns a fly shop in Pine Nut, NC. There are a couple of great scenes where he talks about flies & fishing to various uninterested parties (kind of like me talking to my wife sometimes ;-> ). Actually that’s one of the big draws of the movie for her; it lets her know there are others out there!   If you couldn’t guess, the movie is on right now so it got me to wondering about others. It’s too cold to fish right now so I thought I’d post. Anybody else?   Ken (FL)
