Preston,

I guess you have to use a glue which soaks in the foam as well. I glue my
eyes (-- the eyes of the flies of course) with a water bases resin - stuff
similar to epoxy, but no mixing - tp bodies (spun hair and synthetics).
Soaks well into the body of the fly and glues the eyes really nice to the
body.

The super glue does not soak the body, glues only to the tips of the hair
and the foam.
