Hi y'all pluckers!
As I read this figures I am convinced that it was a really good advice from Tom to change from bronce to silver. appr. 30 feathers/pack. 10 flies per feather and 6 packs.
Makes 1800 dries from it. I'll get 2 sets. Hmmm..... Hope my flyshop will
survive. Don't know hackles for the next couple of year. And when we start this
again, I probably will be in. At least for the next tying season.
I pretty sure that Whisk(e)y is a slightly ff-related
topic - like my redwine I drink (sometimes) during the tying sessions -
therefore hopefully it is lega to add some notes to my travel to the
sowbug.
I guess I have it set now.
I'll start with train. Yeahhh, the fastest train we have here
(except the MetroRapid, which is still in construction). 180 miles/hour. A
train, not a plane. To Frankfurt. Flight to Pittburg, change planes there and
smaller plane to Springfield. Hope I do not have to assist the pilot. FInally
rental car.
Will arrive at the hotel late evening on Wednesday. I'll
return on Monday. Hope I come into some fishing on Thursday and
Sonday.
BTW: How about the regulations, where can I get a
licence?
I'll post flight numbers when I have them, probably some
others have similar schedule.
