As the lowly "Carp" is placed in the "Trash Fish" category, most often by those that have never hooked one on either a 2# tippet or ultralight gear, and sweated and worked for an hour to land a 3# fish. Having experienced it I can attest that the first run after being hooked is a "Reel" smoking moment. Truly the lowly Carp is an unsung game fish that will put 60% of the "Advertised" game fish to shame in it's fighting ability and true trophy challenge. Jimi
