In theory, the way to do this is to tie some float foam on the front of the hook shank, extending forward over the eye. Then, tie in a clump of even deer hair on top of the foam, tips evened and extending over the eye. Trim the deer hair butts. Finally, take the foam up and use it to split the deer into two equal sections. Fold the foam back, and tie it off. Clip the foam off, making a wing case.
