Forgot something cool: after you soak your coffee, take the used
container of grounds and spread it into your garden as an awesome soil
fortifier.
Don't be too hasty on that garden remedy. Best to mix all your peelings, egg shells, leaves and grass into a compost pile with the grounds. Until they decompose, they will drain nitrogen from the soil. You can even have a worm garden in the house to make compost odor free. I believe Rhodale has an Organic Gardening site with directions.
