Subject: [VFB] Salmon/steelhead
swap?
I realize there are already lots of swaps taking
place -- however, I'd like to determine if there is interest in
another.
Is anyone interested in a salmon/steelhead
swap.
Given that many patterns -- such as a general
practioner, bomber, muddler, alexandra, winters hope and mickey finn --
can be used for atlantic salmon, pacific salmon or steelhead -- it could
be a fly for any one of these species. However, please try to choose a pattern that you think or know could be used
for speices other than what you traditionally fish -- e.g. if you live on the
west coast, tie something that you think could also be used for atlantic
salmon or if you live on the east coast or in europe please tie something that
you think could be used for pacific salmon.
Flies such as an egg-sucking leech wouldn't be
acceptable because -- to my knowledge -- they aren't used for atlantic
salmon.
No double hooks please -- and no weighted
flies.
Due date for the flies would be mid March -- so I
can try to get them back to you by April 1st.
Is anyone interested?
20 swappers max.
