There are three primary reasons a message may not make it to the list...in order by most common...

1. Your message exceeded the size restrictions. Solution...make your message smaller...;^) Seriously...try to avoid quoting the complete original post. Especially try to avoid sending messages containing html formatting...like stylized text. Plain text messages will stand the best chance to make the grade.

2. You are sending your message from an email address that is not subscribed. In other words you're subscribed with your home email but are trying to send a post from your work address. Solution...ask me to subscribe that work address as a post only account.

3. Contrary to what some folks think...messages are not refused if they contain foul or nasty or tasteless language. Now, that could get you summarily bumped from the roster by me...;^) There is however a short list of words that will prevent a post from making the list. I'd list them here, but then this post wouldn't go through...;^) All the words are synonymous with words pertaining to trying to leave our friendly forum. Well let me try it this way... u n s u b s c r i b e...r e m o v e...words like that...get the gist? (side note: The Forum on the VFB website does look for nasties and will make substitutions...like that boy rooster term...well that word will appear as "male thingy"...;^))))

So there you have it...follow the above rules...especially number 1, and you should have no problemo getting your words of wisdom through to the gang.
