The atlantic salmon/steelhead swap is almost full
-- we will take one more person -- deadline for signup is 5pm Pacific time
on Monday.
There's been a bit of a rush to signup over
the last hour -- I think people were busy for the weekend and are just
catching up on their e-mail.
As such -- we will allow a total of 15
swappers (originally I was going to limit it to 12)
There are 14 already signed up -- including people
from the UK, Denmark, Canada and the US.

The details are as follows...
Tie a fly that could be used for atlantic salmon, pacific salmon or steelhead -- e.g. general practioner, bomber, alexandra, mickey finn or collie dog etc etc -- the pattern is your choice -- but we would like it to be one that both atlantic salmon fishermen and steelhead fishermen could use. Patterns for pacific salmon are welcome too -- when deciding what pattern
-- ask yourself if it may be good for atlantic
salmon too -- eg maybe a winters hope, a black ghost, a supervisor, or a marabou muddler. This way we get a diverse list of swappers and everyone gets flies they could use on their home waters. The motivation behind this swap: If you're a history buff -- or an atlantic salmon/steelhead fly aficionado -- you will know that Atlantic salmon flies have had a big influence on the development of flies for steelhead (and pacific salmon to a lesser degree).
