Found this on one of the BB I visit regularly: ********************************** posted February 10, 2003 03:19 AM I have a fresh (less than 24 hrs.) red golden pheasant skin as a result of raccoon predation. The raccoon got ahold of the male golden through the chicken-wire fence, and was able to eat his head and neck off, so the neck hackles are gone, but most of the rest of the gorgeous feathers are in pretty good shape.
