Sounds like a great visit, I would consider myself privileged to have anyone for the list drop by. You my friend are truly blessed. And we all know it. Jimi
Allan Fish and his wife Martha came through Lake Charles yesterday. My family and I met them for dinner (Valerie, Bridget & Briana). We had a wonderful visit. Allan knows Tom Nixon (who lives in Lake Charles, but whom I'd never met), so we went over to Tom's place for a short visit (and for both of us to buy the third edition of Tom's "Fly Tying and Fly fishing for Bass and Panfiosh". I've got a copy of the first edition, but Tom has added a lot.) Tom is now 88, but is very spry and as sharp as a tack. I can tell you that I envy his tying room, though, lots of space. All in all a very enjoyable evening. Allan and Martha left early this morning on the next leg of their trip, they are traveling to Monroe, LA to stay with some relatives. I believe they intend to arrive home in Indiana around the end of the week. Allan and I also had a bit to talk about besides flyfishing since he is a retired chem professor and I am still teaching a chem professor. Thought you might want to hear about the visit. I'll leave the report of Allan's first adventure into saltwater flyfishing to him when he gets back. Mark Delaney --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
