-- I got a copy of "Fishy's Flies," and he made a recommendation that I 've been doing very well with for small tails, dubbing, and dubbing rope hackles: Faux Fur. It's sold in about 18 sq. inch pieces at Walmart and other places that sell craft supplies. It comes in dark brown, black, tan, leopard, white, and others. The stuff even has under coat that's fluffy, and guard hairs that are stiff.
