I guess that the main reason for my doubts is the "fact" that it is the enclosed air bubbles in dubbed body that makes it float. I�m not sure about this but most of our dubbingmaterials will sink if we rope-dub them hard enough, of course treating the flies with floatant will help but....

Depending on what you use as dubbing, yes. I use Superfine and don't have a problem with them floating.
