Iain: I arrived home on Thursday evening to find a package with my own handwriting crammed into my mailbox. John Sander's size 22 Knit Picking Mayfly is superb! How do I learn to create something as delcate as this? Deb Duran's is another delicate pattern but no name or tying details. I'm sure it will work in my area. I could go on and on! Roger Cotner's Hexagenia will work in my area for the very short duration hex hatch which takes place mid June. Rene Zillman's pattern of a spent mayfly with CDC wings. Joe Leavitt's "Xtra Ugly Green Drake" (Joe's description not mine!)look dark, buggy and fishy! Equally fish worthy is Ashley Strutt's "lively mayfly". There are two flies in the box that have no tier's tag attached. One is a brown parachute pattern with a white wing and a bushy deer hair tail, while the other has a green flexible body and extended grouse? wings. Are they both from you Iain?
Thanks everybody and a special thanks to Iain.
