OK John, If you will not tell your fly I will tell them mine. Mark Wendt, I think you can back me up on this. Oh I forgot, that was the day I got all small mouths instead on a load of gills. Anyway, here is the fly that got me the most gills last year. As many as 87 on one outing on Crooked Creek. A sz 14 3X long purple bugger tied with purple vernille and a silver plastic bead head. A few wraps of .010 wire for weight. Purple marabou tail, pinched short, purple thread and purple hackle. That's it. It does well on trout too. Tony [EMAIL PROTECTED]
