and enter your pattern. my own favorite goes like this. thread: red or rusty dun wings: white hen saddle feather tip tails: rusty micro fibetts, split body: hackle steam from a rusty dun saddle thorax: fine hares ear dubbing the trick is how to form the thorax. One wrap if the dubbed thread after and one before the wings. Then figure eight wraps which go under the hook outside these 'walls'. this keeps the wings in place.
