The DK is Dyna King.
I have a Danvise, it is a true rotary, the only objection I have is the short space
behind the jaws. I would see if I can find a shop that might have one and try it. If
you can make the Sowbug, Al Betty will be there tying on one. I know he willet you try
it.
It is hard for one to recommend a vise to another person unless the ate making a
choice between two vises. What I think is great for me, may not suit another at all. I
was about to get rid on my Norvise because I just could not master it. Now that I can
master it, I use it for all flies that have wrapped bodies like the Woolly Buggers
when I have a good number of them to tie. If I am just tying
one or two I use my DK Barracuda Jr. For lead wrapping, when I have a load to do, I
find the Regal ( rotary ?) to my liking for that, but tie the flies on another vise.
Boy, we can get fussy when we have too many vises or is it vices. LOL
