Ok, I usually use tapered one piece leaders and add tippet as I need it. For some reason I am gaining curiousity about building my own leaders , and Joyce suggested furled leaders. I do not know much about furled leaders. Do you have to treat them with floatan, how are they made, do I attach tippet material to the end of it? Just general questions. I saw a tool made out of a ten foot board, some pegs and using a dril lto furl the thread. how is that working, and has anyone tried it?
