I had some really good luck with last year's sulphur hatches by
experimenting with different combinations of a thread base and
Z-lon fibers on traditional catskill style dry fly patterns.  For what its
worth, the best combination seemed to be fire orange thread with ginger
Z-lon.  When it gets wet, the color is right on the money (on the Gunpowder
in Maryland anyway), but its all a matter of how thick you lay on the Z-lon
which I guess probably can't be quantified in a meaningful way through
email.  Its something fun to experiment with though.
