Hi Jimi As a matter of fact there are stories in the Viking Sagas that tells us about Vinland which was a land far west of Greenland where the Vikings founded a coloni led by Leif Eriksson. This should have taaken place around year 1000 or so. Scientists are quit sure that the stories are true and that Vinland is todays New Foundland. Soren
