Recently, my wife communicated with the people involved with Casting for Recovery, being accepted for the position of Program Coordenator for the Midwest States Area. It is her plan to bring this great program to Missouri in the Spring, 2004! In supporting her efforts, I have put together a Supper Swap of sorts, and would like to extend it to the fine members of VFB! http://www.castingforrecovery.org/, http://www.womensflyfishing.net/cfr2.htm.
---- No deadlines! ----You work at your own pace! Join once, or as many times as you like!----You pick the type of fly (see categories!) you are in need of improving on and work your own plan! When you get them done, then you send them to me, your SM, SwapMaster!

---- As Flies come in to the SM Headquarters, they will cataloged into the current 11-person LOT for that catagory! As soon as a LOT fills up (11--Tiers) the SM will pack the flies and send them off to the tiers who sent them! Along with the flies, your FIRST ENTRY, you will receive some details to explain more about this Swap and an invitation to KEEP ON TYING! There is no rule that you can�t be working up your next batch of flies as you wait for the returns from those you have send! Simply pick the same or a different fly category; pick a new fly pattern that you want to master; and get busy!!!!�Again at your own leisure! The SwapMaster has a group of folks planning to help with the process of flies so as to try to have a 1-2 week turn around! (Yes, the SwapMaster does take time to fish himself but will try to keep up the pace!
FOR STARTS: Its simple! Tie up 12 flies of one size and one pattern! Place them in a Crush Proof box of some type and place them in a shipping envelope. To you package include a note with the following:
A) Your name B)Your Mailing Addres C) $3 cash or money order written out to FLY TYING FRIENDS OF CFR. (SORRY, NO PERSONAL CHECK PLEASE!) Also include your E-Mail Address, as it will be used to keep you updated!

NOTE: the three-dollar fee will cover return postage! Two of your flies, as well as all �left over cash� will be donated to the program called Casting For Recovery(CFR)! So you will be getting ONLY TEN FLIES in your return packet! Full details of this as well as Information about CFR will be provided to you with your flies! You will be invited to continue with this SWAP system at your own leisure and enjoyment!
