[VFB] Leaders revisited. Thanks

Until a few days ago I was happy to just use the store bought tapered leaders. My main problem has only been the night before a trip realizing that I didn't have a fresh leader and it's a 35 minute drive to the nearest place to get one. But after the long thread this week about building your own leaders and using furled leaders I'm left wondering which way to go. I've read several articles the last few days and even downloaded leadercalc to my computer. There is so much more to leaders then I realized and the thought of building leaders to not only match the type of fly and fish but also to match the line wt intrigues me.  So let me just say thanks to all for opening my eyes and giving me a ton of food for thought on the subject of leaders.
