I am not a wood worker, and don't have any of the tools, but would like some shadow boxes to put some flies in. Does anyone know if there are shadow boxes for sale anywhere and if so, what they generally cost? I have some flies tied by some famous folks and would like to preserve them and think a shadow box is probably the best way possible. Any other suggestions are more than welcome. Look on ebay for a printer's type tray (California Job Type tray is what it used to be called, when they used moveable type). Can usually be had for 10 - 15.00. Has all kinds of different size compartments. Add a piece of plexiglass (glass shop should be able to cut to size), and viola, instant shadow box!!
