Hey Guys,

If you ever have the chance to meet or talk with Tom Nixon, you should go out of your
way to do it.
Tom Nixon is one of the all time greats in flyfishing history in N. America. He is
the Pioneer of modern bass flyfishing along with some of the others like Lefty and
Dave Whitlock. His book, while not fancy like Whitlock's books is a great one full of
ideas.

I've talked with Tom only on the phone about using PIGBOATS on Bull trout and big
Brown trout. I blew a guys mind once when I pulled a PIGBOAT spinner rigged fly out
of the water. Imagine the picture of a guy standing there holding a Bamboo flyrod
with this contraption hanging off his leader telling a guy how great the fishing is!
The guy (he was fishing an EHC) thought I was from outer space.

Cheers,

Alberta Al

The story is when you hear something that is 99.44 pure,
this fly is the other .56%. That is what Tom told me.
See you in a few weeks.
Tony
