Hi Murf,
We've all seen the way that some "fishermen" abuse the stream and the fish. Since my boxing skills stink, direct confrontations are verbal more than anything like lobbing rocks and so on. However, when we complain to authorities about abuses, it makes sense to me that the abuses should be genuine. It seems like the corn issue might just be a red herring. It doesn't seem right to assume that the biologist who did the study had bad motives or was inexperienced just because the results didn't confirm the assumption. In general I think the fisheries people try to do well, even in PA. (I grew up there.) When we argue and lobby for change in fisheries policies, let's focus on problems that are known to harm fish. There sure are plenty of those. But if we claim that corn kills fish when that's not true, it will undermine our our credibility and compromise legitimate concerns. Just my two cents, Mark __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! Tax Center - forms, calculators, tips, more http://taxes.yahoo.com/
