I'm afraid Murf is right here in Pa. fishing is more of a busness than a sport all the fish commishion worries about is bring in the almighty dollar.

This study is under controlled conditions. I don't know if that makes a
difference. What I do know is that after a day of chumming by some boats,
there will be a bunch of dead trout on the bottom of the river. If the corn
is not doing it then what is. These corn chuckers don't normally release any
trout.
Tony- This was an attempt to show the difference between PA policies and
other states. Fishing in PA is a huge business which raises lots of tax,
business and license revenue. You can't do the San Juan Shuffle on the San
Juan but you can dump a can of corn chum in PA waters. I think the resource
is geared toward revenue enhancement more than environmental prudence.
Your point about dead fish is more relevant to me than a state sponsored
study. You've spent more time studying trout than those kids with a new
degree and a politician funding their study.
