Well, I have been kind of active between naps today. I have had some marvelous success with kool aid dying. I dyed some wolf fur today to the colors I needed. Here is what worked.
Lemon-aid gave me a nice soft lemon yellow color. Lime aid gave me a very bright green, almost florescent Cheery gave me a deep red Blue, green and red food coloring gave me the "Perfect mahogany brown for the mayflies we have on the river. I have an arsenal of color to rope dub with now so it is on to other dying attempts. Thanks Joyce and all who helped me get the colors I needed, now to get some feathers and deer hair to play with...as well as some more kool aid packets... Jimi
