Hi Everybody,

Well, I've been doing some thinking (a dangerous thing) and I had a thought
(an uncommon, but welcome, byproduct of the thinking). The thought came about
from the research I've been doing regarding which fly to tie for the carp swap
(I think I've decided, BTW). The latest trend in carp flyfishing seems to be
to refer to them as "freshwater bonefish". As I was watching some carp
yesterday (and I was throwing pieces of fabric & fur attached to a line and a
stick at them) the thought hit me (no, it wasn't the fly I was casting). So
here it is,

instead of calling carp the freshwater bonefish, perhaps we should call
bonefish the saltwater carp?

After all, they look kind of similar, they act similar, and they appear to take
similar flies (which is really whatever I'm not using).

Thanks for enduring my random ramblings.
