Why not a 351 Cleveland, Alan.  It's the tuff one with 4 bolts per main.  More power. longer lasting, same gas mileage.

Did you see at the Barrett-Jackson car auction in Scottsdale,Az about a month ago. Carroll Shelby started to make AC Cobra New-Replica's. It sold for around $50,000. He also made a duplicate of Ellinore. Not the same color but just as beautiful.

I might go with a 351 Windsor in my Cobra.
