The rain just passed through here today. Started at 11:30 AM (just as we
were leaving mass) and stopped around 5:00 PM.
So Look out New Mexico tomorrow and Texas the day after and all points east
after that.

In case you need proof that the human race is doomed through stupidity, here
are some actual label instructions on consumer goods;

On Sears hairdryer: "Do not use while sleeping." (Gee, that's the only time
I have to work on my hair.)

WHOOPEEE! OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES!

It FINALLY got warm in Indiana. Isn't going to last, but today was
great! Still some ice on the ponds, so fly fishing was not really an
option.

But all the golf courses were open. So I decided to go out and hit a
bucket of balls this afternoon. I actually made contact with about
one out of three golf balls (my average has improved since last
year). And since the driving pasture was at a par 3 course, I decided
to play 9 holes. It was great. It was warm! It was hot! I even
worked up a sweat walking up a hill (and realized how badly out of
shape I really am). But best of all, it was OUT OF THE HOUSE!

Tomorrow I need to get the boat out and see if I got the bunkers
(railings) installed on the trailer properly so I can get the boat
off the trailer - and back on again. Maybe even fire the motor up to
start the Spring off. Hopefully we'll have open water this week, but
whether any of the finny friends will come up from the bottom to
investigate is yet to be seen. Tomorrow is supposed to be nearly as
nice, but overcast. Tuesday is a little less pleasant, with rain
coming in. And the heavy rains are supposed to arrive Wednesday
causing the temperature to drop again. We may even be back to snow
on Friday.

But I sure enjoyed the one day we had!

WHOOPEEE!
