Good grief, that sounds like a perfect lineup, but I'll bet you could squeeze
in a little mackerel too, with enough arm-twisting.
They always marinate the mack in sweetened rice vinegar which I like some days and others not. Sea Urchin (Uni) is my favorite but theirs was not as sweet and rich, maybe because its a Sunday? Uni is one of those expensive ($5 for 2 little ones) vices (not vises) I'm really nuts about.
Right Allan, back to the flyfishing. Does flyingfish roe count? So here I am trying to vary a pattern which works real well in my neck of the woods for a swap. I want to incorporate the float angle, segmentation, colors that will work across the broadest scope of the secret swappers' home streams. Wish I could tell you more but I'll let out another secret and then I'm toast (well, toast points with sturgeon caviar).
