Subject: [ROPE-DUB] Rope-dub swap memo 3/4/03

Just an update note.
Is everyone clear on the swap details?
*Flies are due May 1st
*Tie 16 flies with rope-dubbed bodies per description email- let me know if
you didn't get this email on the difference between the rope-dub and other
dubbing rope methods.
*You may submit more than one set.
*You may submit a group of roped flies and some loose dubbing for
critiquing.
*Enclose a couple of bucks for remailing, and a re-useable fly tin.
*Make sure your return address is on the envelope.
*There are 30 participants in 2 groups of 15.

The prizes are a mouse, a 14/0 muddler, and a stonefly. These are all show
flies.

The goal is to become proficient at rope-dubbing any dubbing that comes your
way.
Also, you will receive many samples of roped flies with different materials.
The prime goal of rope-dubbing is segmentation, but speed, profile, and
versatility are all of importance, too. Do not use dubbing wax, roped
yarns, or dubbing loops.

My address:
1321 N. Buck Creek Rd.
Casper, WY 82604

Some great results showing up already!
