Dear JimmyD,

Looks like I need to clear up a few things about the Pro Team assessment
process.

Anyone on the list who believes they qualify after reading the requirements
may approach me or Tom Whiting about PT membership. A frank letter stating
what your qualifications are, based on the requirements, is required to kick
things off.

I do not approach anyone as then I'm playing favorites and I don't want to
hurt anyone's feelings.

Those who have qualified so far have done the above, and I have agreed to
sponsor them. I did not have to sponsor Hans, as Tom already knew him well
and his assignment was just a formality. I just got the two together.
Martin has been corresponding with me for two months, sending letters, boxes
of flies, videos of him conducting clinics. He has worked hard to prove his
qualifications and Tom agreed that more European representation was needed.

So if you or any other of my friends here believe they qualify, I will be
happy to assist.

Best Regards,
DonO
